Elbit Systems Ltd announced today that it was awarded two contracts from a Far Eastern country to supply defense systems at a total value of approximately US$50 million.
Under the first contract, the Israel based company will deliver the country’s artillery corps with the ATMOS truck-mounted 155mm self-propelled artillery system, for approximately US$30 million, to be supplied within three years. ATMOS consist of a 155mm howitzer mounted in a 6×6 protected trucks which include an inertial navigation system, muzzle velocity radar, battle management system and communication system.
Under the second contract Elbit Systems Ltd will supply the country’s armed forces with personal radio systems, for approximately US$20 million, which will be supplied within a year.
